MIDAS/Civil considers Specified
Displacements as load cases and as such, linear
load combinations with other load cases are possible.
When an analysis includes tension or compression only
nonlinear elements, load combinations are automatically
converted to individual load cases to obtain accurate
member forces of the nonlinear elements.
Hydrostatic Pressure Loads
auto-calculates and applies the
lateral loads due to soil or fluid pressures acting on
plate or solid elements. The loads acting on the elements
are auto-transformed even when the elements are
Divided or Merged.
Temperature loads can be applied to either the entire
structure or individual nodes. Temperature Gradient can
be applied to line elements along the axes of the elements.

For moving load analyses, Standard
Vehicular Loads have been constructed in the database.
You may define separate vehicular loads of your choice.

For response spectrum analysis, you may
select a response spectrum from various seismic
data contained in the database of the program,
or you may auto-generate design
response spectrum in accordance with a governing
standard. Mass data can be automatically input by using
the self-weight of and other loadings already entered
in the structure for egenvalue analysis.
